This might just be the best video Petrolicious has ever made.
The car is an Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale from 1965 and it was built especially for the La Carrera Panamericana race through Mexico. There’s plenty of driving footage to see and it’s a wonder to behold. In fact, it’s so wonderful it makes you wish there was no owner’s story to tell. Just give me more driving!!
For me, this video sums up the soul of Alfa Romeo. I hope he calls in the stylists and the engineers and says “This is your brief. Do this for a modern Alfa Romeo”.

Yes, the video is amazing, as is the car and the website generally. That said, I have to admit that I prefer the videos about more common cars and their owners. Such as the videos on the five series BMW owned by a young lady, the six series where the college age owner painted the hood with chalkboard paint to allow people to leave messages when it is parked, and the Saab 900 video (yes, I am a Saab nut but I still loved the video). Sometimes their videos are on cars which are too exotic for me to even dream about (and I am a relatively well paid lawyer).
Perhaps someday there will be a video on you and your Lancia.
